A Summer Trip to the Philippines

Ever since I got back from Italy and Ireland last summer, I've been trying to cope with the travel bug that inevitably infects those who go abroad. For a while, I haven't been able to travel around much, since school started and work's been busy, and the whole mess of things that we call life. I might have finally found a solution to my problem, though, and I would have never thought it would happen. Hint, the title might have something to do with it.

So it's been pretty up in the air for a while, but it sounds like I'll be going to the Philippines for around 7 weeks this summer, and then even on to Malaysia for an extra week. Now I know you're probably so excited for me and holding back tears of joy and excitement, but if you would, please calm down.

I just wanted to let all 0 of my subscribers know that starting around June/July timeframe, you'll be seeing more blog posts related to my travel in the Philippines as well as some pretty gnarly pictures of the places I hope to go, ranging from private islands to leper colonies. My plan is to not get kidnapped or killed while I am over there (you think I am joking, but it's kind of a legit problem), though I honestly have no idea what to expect when I get there. I'll need to get to know the area, as well as the political climate, before I start making my agenda.

Who knows, maybe by the time I start posting blogs and images of my time overseas, I'll have a subscriber. One can dream...

Until then, you're stuck with a few meager blog posts about random topics and some pieces of content that will hopefully be live by the time I go this summer.  For those waiting on the edges of their seat for my eBook, I have just finished the outline and am running it by my resident Adobe Premiere expert, Willie Forbes for careful review.
